What to expect

What to expect when you visit us

Our Sunday morning worship consists of the public reading of scripture, congregational singing, prayer, preaching from God’s word, remembering our Lord’s sacrifice through the Lord’s supper each Sunday, and giving an offering as an expression of our gratitude. This is the example we get from the New Testament church and the instructions from the apostles in the first century. Here are some scriptures that give us our model for worship…

(
2 Timothy 3:16-17; Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16; 1 Corinthians 14:15; Hebrews 13:15; Philippians 4:6; Ephesians 5:20 and 6:18; Romans 12:12; 2 Corinthians 1:11; 2 Timothy 4:2; Romans 10:14-15; 1 Corinthians 1:23; Matthew 26:24-30; Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:23-29; 1 Corinthians 16:1-2; 2 Corinthians 9:6-7)

Our Sunday evening worship is similar to Sunday morning as it gives opportunity to those who were not able to be present for morning worship. It is an additional time set by our Elders for us to gather for fellowship and worship.

Our Wednesday evening devotional and Bible study is another time for us to fellowship as well as dig into God’s word and apply it to our lives.

What you need to know to visit Keller church of Christ: Come as you are! Come free of the thought of judgement and see how God’s family can show you the love of Christ. Come prepared to worship, study and leave better than you came.

What we need you to do when you visit us: Introduce yourself! We want to meet everyone but sometimes we aren’t able to greet everyone new, so we ask that you introduce yourself to one of our Elders, Deacons or Ministers (anyone with a name tag) and let them know you’re visiting. If you want to let us know you’re coming ahead of time you can click the "Plan your visit" button below.
